UNIFIED SCHOOLS BASKETBALL INVITATIONAL
The Unified Schools Basketball invitational aims to bring students with and without disabilities together to celebrate abilities through sport! We participated in a fun-filled day of basketball and fun with over 50 participants from East Ridge High School, both general education and special education students.
Not only did we play two great, competitive games of basketball, students also worked together to create signs to support the team at a Spirit Station. Many students also spent plenty of time at the photo booth taking fun pictures where we met students from Unified Schools all over the state!. After we received our participation trophy, we played team building games like bingo and other Minute To Win It-inspired activities.
Everyone who attended had such a great day and can't wait to participate again next year!
